Our story begins with a love of hot yoga and couple of friends in Louisville, KY who were struggling to find a yoga home. After visiting multiple studios and coming up short, they felt compelled to build a yoga studio that looked and felt like no other! After jotting down a few thoughts on a napkin, their vision started to become clear. Not only would this new space have an elegant, spa-like vibe with pristine details everywhere you looked, but through a state-of-the-art insulation technique, it would also be eco-friendly, sustainable and reduce their carbon footprint! Those thoughts eventually turned into a reality, and in 2015 Bend and Zen Hot Yoga Louisville opened their doors. This idea was so successful that four years later, we are spreading the Bend and Zen love to Nashville!
While our zip codes may be different, our motto is the same: Your Best Yoga! What does this mean? It is our sincere belief that the ancient practice of yoga creates peace within that translates to peace throughout. After years of meeting so many incredible people, we have learned that all students who walk through our doors are in different stages of their lives and their yoga journeys. By practicing with the Your Best Yoga! mindset, we all begin to understand that it’s not the level of flexibility or expensive spandex that define who we are as yogis, but rather the opportunity to step away from our busy lives and step on to our yoga mats in order to become a better version of ourselves.
Namaste,
Bend and Zen
